With regard to the significant number of wealthy Nigerian Governors, many people have argued that Nigerian Governors are embezzlers and barely can they make money without tampering with the public funds of their respective States. This accusations cannot be said to be totally false as we have seen various instances of how politicians embezzle the nations’ funds. Governor Sani Bello is believed to have emerged from one of the wealthiest families in Northern Nigeria. Among all the Nigerian Governors, only his family has appeared on Forbes’ list of richest African families.
