Chelsea Supporters' Trust blasts decision to sack Mourinho

The Chelsea Supporters' Trust is angry over the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

The chairman of the Chelsea Supporters' Trust, Tim Rolls, has hit out at the club's decision to sack Mourinho.

Speaking to the BBC, Rolls said: "It is very disappointing to me that a man who won the League seven months ago, has won it three times for Chelsea overall and other trophies too, hasn't been given a chance to sort things out.

"I would have let him rebuild. If one or two players aren't performing or are making noises behind the scenes, I'd rather they ship them out and keep Mourinho.

"I have no idea (if he lost the dressing room), but the fact is those players won the League last season because of Mourinho, so they owe him a lot. It shows disloyalty if he has lost part of the dressing room.

"There may be other factors we don't know about, but it's very disappointing that he hasn't been given more time, that they didn't let him bring two or three more players in.

"They need another striker and a centre back. If there are players making noises, ship them out and then move on, but they chose not to do that."
