Gyan sympathises with Kano Pillars supporters

The =striker is hoping to give the fans something to cheer about when they lock horns with El-Kanemi Warriors

Kano Pillars' Amos Gyan has stated that every department in the team is feeling the pressure of under performing this season.

The four-time NPFL champions are ninth on the NPFL table with 48 points and will face El-Kanemi Warriors in a week 36 NPFL rescheduled match on Wednesday.

Gyan stated that the poor form in recent times has brought pressure on the team as Masu Gida seek to bounce back with a win in their last three matches.

"Well in football there are two things involved, it's either you have a good run or a bad patch. We are not doing too badly but Kano Pillars is known for it's wining mentality and anything short of that isn't good enough," Gyan told Goal.

"So I understand the how the fans feel. We are going through that bad patch now but hopes to get back to wining ways soon.

"Every department in the club is feeling the pressure, Babaganaru is a good and intelligent coach no doubt but what makes him different from other coaches is his ability to organise and coordinate to keep pushing on.

"As for the match against El-Kanemi Warriors on Wednesday, we are focused and we really do want to win the remaining three matches this season.

We want to finish on a high note."
