Jose Mourinho Says Zlatan Ibrahimovic Is Enjoying Life As A Manchester United Player Following His Summer Move

The Sweden legend completed a free transfer to Old Trafford from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in July after months of speculation linking the centre-forward with a move to England.

Ibrahimovic has wasted no time having a telling impact on the United side after scoring the winner in a 2-1 victory over champions Leicester City in the Community Shield.

The 34-year-old striker netted United’s third goal in a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium last weekend as the Red Devils made a winning start to their season.

United manager Mourinho gave an insight into how Ibrahimovic is adapting to life in Manchester ahead of Friday night’s clash against Southampton at St Mary’s.

“I see him happy,” Mourinho told his pre-match media conference at Carrington on Thursday.

“I ask about his family, his wife, his kids – I know how important these things are to him – integration, houseand everything is fine and everybody is happy.

He has a very high motivation, so I see him here, no doubts, for the next two years.

”Ibrahimovic scored 38 times in 31 Ligue 1 games for French champions PSG last season as he won a fourth successive top-flight crown.
