Manchester United Receive DOUBLE Injury Boost Ahead Of Europa League Final

Manchester United have received a massive boost ahead of their Europa League final against Ajax Amsterdam next Wednesday.

The duo of Marouane Fellaini and Chris Smalling were not part of the Red Devils’ last game in the Premier League last Sunday against Crystal Palace, with minor injuries.

However, the pair were seen at the club training ground on Tuesday before the squad jetted out to Stockholm for their Europa League clash against Ajax.

Felliani was ruled out of action due to a hamstring injury while Smalling has a toe injury, but both of them were part of the training session, which could be good news for Mourinho who has become clearly weary of the pressure that comes with the clash, where a win will see the Red Devils qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Manchester United have been plagued with incessant injuries in the latter stages of their campaign, which saw the likes of academy players gracing the red jerseys.

Mourinho had constantly complained about their busy schedule due to their involvement in the Europa League and Premier League, highlighting the spate of injuries in his current squad.
