After Syd shared an unreleased song called “Treading Water” last week, it appears fellow The Internet band member Steve Lacy was inspired to dig into his own stash. Last night, the young heart breaker released “Moron,” a leftover cut from his debut solo project Steve Lacy’s Demo. “This song didn’t make the demo but my friends and i all agree this is one the world should here,” Steve says. Perfect lazy Sunday music right here.
Celebrating the release of Steve Lacy’s Demo, his debut solo project (or “song series,” as he likes to call it), The Internet’s Steve Lacy drops a dual video for “Ryd” and “Dark Red.” Directed by Matthew Castellanos, the clip finds Steve serenading his girl at a laundromat, only to wind up in the trunk of her car. Love has a way of driving you crazy like that.
