West Ham bid £20m for Ayew

Swansea City are understood to have received an offer for the Ghana forward West Ham Unitedare understood to have made an offer for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew.

According to Sky Sports, the Hammers have bid £20 million for the Ghana international as they look to tempt the 26-year-old to the Olympic Stadium.

On Friday,Goal reported that West Ham had made an offer of £16 million for the attacker, but the latest reports indicate that the East London side have upped their bid as they look to secure the Black Star’s future.

Dede moved to the Liberty Stadium on a free transfer from Olympique de Marseille, surprising observers who had expected that he would join one of Europe’s biggest clubs with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal both linked to his signature.
Few doubted Ayew’s quality, but he adapted to life in the Premier League immediately, scoring on his debut against Chelsea before following that up with an effort against Newcastle United.

He ended the year with 12 goals and two assists, demonstrating his versatility by featuring across the Swans’ forward line and in midfield.

Under contract with the Welsh side until 2019, Swansea are unlikely to be willing to part with their star man, having already offloaded forwards Eder and Bafetimbi Gomis this summer.

Dede won two League Cups during his time with OM, and was a defeated finalist at the Cup of Nations with Ghana in both 2010 and 2015.
