Other clubs want me – Cooreman dares Akwa United

Coach of Akwa United, Maurice Cooreman, has claimed that he is being chased by other clubs and could consider leaving the Promise Keepers when the season ends.
Cooreman has had a few clashes with the management of the club, since he joined from Ikorodu United. He was suspended twice by the board, who felt he was undermining his backroom staff.

But the Belgian is not worried about his future, as he revealed there is no shortage of offers.


“I don’t know what the management (of Akwa United) is thinking,” he told SuperSport.

“I have a contract for two years but if they don’t want me, they should pay me off and I will leave.

“I have other teams that want me.”
