Ifeanyi Ubah FC wins Federation Cup

IfeanyiUbah FC also known as Anambra warriors have won the 2016 edition of the Federation Cup.

The team emerged victorious after a 5-4 penalty win over Nasarawa United. The game ended goalless at full-time.

The Anambra Warriors will now represent Nigeria at the continental level in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.


In the Female final played earlier, Rivers Angels beat Bayelsa Queens 5-3 via penalties.

The game had ended a goal apiece after regulation time.
