Chelsea Name Their Asking Price For Diego Costa

Chelsea have set their asking price for Diego Costa at £60million amid intense speculations that he wants to quit the club this summer.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge all season with reports that he wants to leave the club in favour of a move Far East in China with Tianjian Quanjian.

Reports in the Times claim that Chelsea wants at least £60million for Costa who has been their top scorer this season.

The forward was linked with a move to his former club, Atletico Madrid during the last summer window, which he also confirmed that he held successful talks withe the La Liga outfit but they were not ready to meet Chelsea’s valuation for the transfer fee.

Last January transfer window also witnessed Costa linked with a move to Chinese Super League club, Tianjian Quanjian after it emerged that he was involved in a training ground spat with Antonio Conte and went on to discuss transfer with the Chinese club but did not materialise as the Blues refused to sell.

In recent weeks, the Spaniard was spotted at an exclusive London restaurant with a group of businessmen alongside his agent, Jorge Mendes in what looked with a transfer meeting, fuelling speculations that Diego Costa wants to leave the Premier League due to the harsh officiating from referees.
