NFF Technical Study Group Set for London Training Course

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will send 5 coaches and 5 ex internationals to London for coaches’ internship and Back Room match analysis and match reading programmes.

NFF Technical Director Amodu Shaibu is among beneficiaries for the coaches’ programme. Others are Ladan Bosso, Salisu Yusuf, Paul Aigbogun and Kelechi Emetiole.
Kanu Nwankwo, Jay jay Okocha, Edema Fuludu, Yisa Sofoluwe and Garba Lawal are ex-internationals who will be part of the programme. The former international are expected to major on opposition scouting during the training exercise.

Chelsea Technical Director, Mike Emenalo, a former Nigeria international is believed to be the facilitator of the exercise.
Nigeria Football Federation.Emenalo, 49, who started as chief scout at the west London outfit, will organise intensive sessions for his former teammates, employing his broad knowledge in scouting to improve the NFF delegations.

The ex-internationals’ duties include scouting Nigeria’s opposition for the coach in addition to scouting out and unraveling Nigerian talents from all around the world for possible call ups to the national teams.
