Super Eagles Must Start Well AgainstSwaziland – Elderson Echiejile
The AS Monaco full back insists the Eagles do not underrate Swaziland who they face on Friday.
He told africanfootball.com:“It’s important for us to start well with a good win against Swaziland.
We do not underrate the home team, but our target is to go all the way to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Echieljile says he sees huge improvements in coach Sunday Oliseh’s Super Eagles following the recent friendlies against DR Congo and Cameroon.
He said: “We are now playing better as a team going by the hard work we did in Belgium in the friendlies against DR Congo and Cameroon.
It is the time to show we have made progress as a team by getting a positive result in Swaziland.
The defender says the artificial surface the match will be played onwould make it difficult but expresses optimism the Eagles will still win.
He said: “It won’t be easy for us, but both teams will be playing on the same pitch and I believe we will bring our experience to bear in such a situation.
