Nigerian-British actor, John Boyega, famous for his role in 2015 blockbuster,Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is currently visiting Nigeria. John was born in Peckham, London to Nigerian parents and this is his first time in Nigeria.

John, who first announced his intention to visit his ancestral homeland back in March this year, visited his grandmother and other members of his family in Abeokuta, Ogun state and Ibadan, Oyo state this past weekend and shared photos and videos from his visit on his Snapchat, IG and Twitter handle.

“Nigeria love,” he wrote on his social media, adding, “Day well spent in Ibadan and Abeokuta.” He also shared a short video, informing his fans if his arrival.
