Dunga: The dark days are over

Dungadeclared that Brazilhave put the "bad days" behind them after Wednesday night's 4-0 win over Turkey.
The Selecao were left in a state of shock after their 7-1 World Cup semi-final loss to Germany in July and the subsequent 3-0 defeat by Netherlands in the third-place play-off only added to the sense of doom and gloom surrounding the national team.

However, Dunga has overseen five consecutive victories since replacing Luiz Felipe Scolari as coach, with their latest triumph coming courtesy of a Neymar double, a fine strike from Willian and an own goal from Turkey defender Semih Kaya.
The Selecao were applauded off the field at the end of the game in Istanbul, while Neymar's name was shouted by home fans throughout the second half.
As far as Dunga is concerned, this is the clearest evidence yet that Brazil have put their World Cup woe behind them.
“We are glad that we are now being recognised as a good team again," he told reporters.
"It makes us proud to see the fans applauding the Selecao, as they did at the end of the game. We are starting to get our self-confidence back. We are getting better with each passing day.
"The bad days are behind us; we have our team spirit back."
Indeed, Dunga says that his troops deserve immense credit for the pride they are displaying in the jersey, and the way in which they embraced his group mentality.
"These players understand what it means to represent Brazil," he stated. "They know how important it is to play for this team.
“Brazilian players have a natural quality but the work all of us are developing is good. Every player has managed to understand what we’re trying to do here in terms of the mentality, how important it is to represent Selecao.
"We have created a squad that thinks not only of the ones that start the match, but also the substitutes. This is helping them to play with joy again.
“Everyone who enters the pitch is being able to reproduce what they already do for their clubs.
"We are starting to play well and hopefully we keep improving."
Next up for Dunga's men on their Gillette Brasil Global Tour is a meeting with Austria on November 18.
