11817 Cast: Greta Lee, Kingsley-Ben Adir to Star in Sci-Fi Horror Movie

Greta Lee and Kingsley Ben-Adir are set to star in Louis Leterrier’s upcoming sci-fi horror film 11817, according to Deadline.

Lee (Past Lives) and Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami, Secret Invasion) will appear in the film in a currently undisclosed pair of roles. The movie is currently continuing to round out its cast, without any other information available as of now.

“In the film, inexplicable forces trap a family of four inside their house indefinitely. As both modern luxuries and life-or-death essentials begin to run out, the family must learn how to be resourceful to survive and outsmart who – or what – is keeping them trapped,” reads the synopsis.

What to expect from 11817?

11817 is written by Matthew Robinson, with Cecile Gaget set to executive produce. In addition to directing, Leterrier is also producing the project alongside Thomas Benski, Omar Sy, Lars Sylvest, Kori Adelson, Oly Obst, Thorsten Schumacher, and Joe Neurauter.

Even though this will be his first time directing a horror project, Leterrier already has a bit of experience with this kind of genre after previously joining the crew of 1997’s Alien Resurrection as an on-set production assistant. Besides 11817, he is expected to return to the Fast & Furious franchise to helm its eleventh installment, which will debut in 2025.
