Paramount+ has dropped the Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 teaser trailer for the next installment of the hit crime drama.

The video provides viewers with a first look at Jeremy Renner’s return as Mike McLusky, after over a year since sustaining life-threatening injuries from a snowcat accident. It also highlights what can fans expect from Mike’s Season 3 storyline, which involves grieving the death of another family member. The series is scheduled to return on June 2.

Mayor of Kingstown hails from Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) The series also stars Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky, Hugh Dillon as Ian, Emma Laird as Iris, Aidan Gillen as Milo Sunter, Derek Webster as Stevie, Hamish Allan-Headley as Robert, Nishi Munshi as Tracy, and more. Last September 2023, it was confirmed that Emmy winner Dianne Wiest won’t be reprising Mariam McLusky in Season 3 after two seasons of being a series regular. It is executive produced by Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Michael Friedman.

“The series follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry,” reads the logline. “Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.”
