AFCON 2023: Sanusi fit to start for Super Eagles vs Cote d’Ivoire

Zaidu Sanusi is fit to start for the Super Eagles in Sunday’s (today) 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final against hosts, Cote d’Ivoire.

Sanusi missed Nigeria’s semi-final victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa due to a minor hamstring injury.

Fenerbahce’s Bright Osayi-Samuel took his place in the starting line-up in the game.

He is expected to be included in the starting line-up against Cote d’Ivoire.

Head coach, Jose Peseiro, Waploaded learnt will stick to his preferred 3-4-3 formation for the game.

The encounter slated for the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan will kick-off at 9pm Nigeria time.
