Gerald hoped he’ll get to spend quality time with sade as he drove to work. But he’d been surprised when he got to work and found out sade called in sick.

Picking his phone he called her.
” hi baby” he heard her voice, it wasn’t as lively as usual.

” Hi love, heard you are not well? What’s wrong with you? I mean we spoke last night and you were okay”
” Yea yeah, it all started this morning. I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I know I’ll be fine”
” Okay then,I’ll come see you after work.

Eat, rest and take care of yourself okay? I love you plenty”
” Alright baby, I love you too”
Sade replied hanging up
He kept glancing at his wristwatch,waiting anxiously for the day to end.

Alas! It did, gerald hurried out of his office driving straight to the mall. He purchased a bouquet of lilies for sade.

Seeing Gerald made sade recover from what ever it is that was wrong with her. She felt much better and happier. Gerald just kept fussing over sade he didn’t think he could last a day without her.

“Have you eaten?”
” Naah, I’m yet to eat. Buh I’m fine. Seeing you is enough” he replied with a big smile.

” Seeing me is enough kor, do I look like food? Let me get you something to eat jare”
Minutes later sade was done with setting the table.

” Ger, the table is set come and eat”
Sade said dragging him.

Munching the food he asked,
” Did you cook this?”
” Nope, bukola’s mom did. Why did you ask?”
” Its super delicious bae”
” Yeah, she’s a great cook”
Bukola walked into the house in her usual noisy manner.

” Look who we have here” she said dropping her handbag on the table.

” Good evening ma” gerald greeted jokingly.
” Evening sir” she replied with a mock bow.

The three began laughing.
” Babe welcome, how was work?”
” Eeh! Bleeping stressful, God knows I’m tired ehn. how are you now? I don’t even need to ask self Gerald is here” bukola told said hitting sade’s butt.

Giving sade a lovely smile, gerald told bukola.
” I’m the cure to her ailment now, can’t you see she’s okay already?”
The trio laughed and gisted a bit before bukola excused herself and went in to freshen up.

Spending 1 more hour with them Gerald made to leave. Sade walked him to where he parked his car.

” I love you sade”
” I love you too Ger”
Pulling her closer, his mouth captured hers with urgency. He groaned with passion as he spread kisses over her face and neck.
